Staff & Executive Committee
The WFA is governed by an Executive Committee of 10 Trustee positions. These trustees volunteer their time and are elected for a four-year term at the Annual General Meeting.
The FA funds a full-time National Development Manager, who is employed by The WFA to support and enhance participation levels in Powerchair Football. The National Development Officer, who is externally funded, works under the National Development Manager to contribute further to the growth of the sport.
The Executive Committee collaborates closely with the National Development Manager, the National Development Officer, and various subcommittees to guide and oversee the Association’s activities and strategic direction.
Currently, The WFA also benefits from the support of an Ambassador, who plays a vital role in promoting Powerchair Football, raising awareness, and engaging with the community. This ambassador’s involvement helps to amplify The WFA’s mission and foster greater support and visibility for the sport.
