Championship

The National League Championship, often referred to as the Championship, is the second level of the English Powerchair Football League pyramid. Contested by 12 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the National League Premiership and Regional League play-off fixtures. Seasons run from September to June, with each team playing 22 matches (playing all 11 other teams twice) over five weekends. 

The 2023/24 season will be contested by AFC Bournemouth Warriors, Greenbank PFC, Leeds Dynamos PFC, Manchester City PFC, Middlesbrough PFC, Muscle Warriors PFC, Nottingham Forest PFC, Norwich City PFC, Sale United PFC, Teesside Steel PFC, Villa Rockets Lions and WBA Dudley.

  • Gameweek 2 – 18th/19th November, 2023
  • Gameweek 3 – 17th/18th February, 2024
  • Gameweek 4 – 6th/7th April, 2024
  • Gameweek 5 – 1st/2nd June, 2024

All fixtures of the 2023/24 National League Championship will be played at the Lee Westwood Sports Centre in Nottingham Trent University’s Clifton Campus. Nottingham Trent University, Clifton Lane, College Drive, Clifton, Nottingham NG11 8NS.
