Following the success of our workshops in 2020, we are delighted to announce our first workshop of 2021 is a seated activity & exercise session, with Neuromuscular Physiotherapist, Marina Di Marco.
Marina Di Marco is the Principal Neuromuscular Physiotherapist based in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. She has worked in the field of neuromuscular disorders for thirty years and works with both children and adults with muscle-wasting conditions.
Available for members of the WFA community, this virtual sessions will take place on Tuesday, 26th January and will last for about an hour. As well as delivering the exercise session, Marina will also be talking about the practicalities and benefits of seated activity.
During lockdown and shielding, many people have found it difficult to get into a new routine of activity and movement, and have missed out on their ordinary exercise and physiotherapy activities. Some people may not have had the same support as usual and may not have been able to attend appointments as usual.
If you would like to attend, or if you want to find out what activities and movements you can do during these challenging times, then please join us in an interactive online exercise session by registering below.
Please Note: If you are under the age of 18, we advise you to attend the session with a parent.
Registration for this session closes at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 26th.
