National League Premiership

The National League Premiership, now officially named the 2024/25 Optegra Premiership, is the top level of the English Powerchair Football League pyramid. Contested by 12 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the National League Championship. The season runs from September to June, with each team playing 22 matches (facing all 11 other teams twice) over five weekends.

Optegra Eye Health Care will proudly sponsor the 2024/25 Optegra Premiership, underscoring their support for Powerchair Football and enhancing the opportunities for players at the highest level.

The 2023/24 season will feature the following teams: Aspire PFC, Greenbank PFC, Leeds Chariots PFC, Middlesbrough PFC, Newcastle United Foundation PFC, Norwich City PFC, Nottinghamshire PFC, Sevenoaks PFC, Teesside PFC, Villa Rockets, West Bromwich Albion PFC, and WBA Throstles.

The fixtures for the 2024/25 Optegra Premiership are scheduled as follows:

  • Gameweek 1: 26th & 27th October 2024
  • Gameweek 2: 14th & 15th December 2024
  • Gameweek 3: 1st & 2nd March 2025
  • Gameweek 4: 12th & 13th April 2025
  • Gameweek 5: 31st May & 1st June 2025

All matches for the 2024/25 Optegra Premiership will be held at the Lee Westwood Sports Centre, Nottingham Trent University’s Clifton Campus, Clifton Lane, College Drive, Clifton, Nottingham NG11 8NS.
