Jewson Sponsorship
We are delighted to announce Jewson as the Headline Sponsor for our 2023 End of Season Awards evening.
A highlight in the powerchair football calendar, The WFA’s End of Season Award evening is a night to recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication of those involved in our sport. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, July 15th, in the Toyota Suite at Derby County FC’s Pride Park Stadium.
Jewson is a well-respected and established brand in the construction industry and has been providing high-quality building materials and services for over 180 years. With their commitment to excellence, we are confident they will help us deliver an outstanding event that recognises the hard work and dedication of our players, coaches, match officials, volunteers, staff and more.
Jewson has a strong connection to football, having supported several initiatives and organisations in the sport. They have been a partner of the Football League since 2015, providing building materials and services to clubs throughout the country. Jewson has also worked with various grassroots football organisations to support the development of football in local communities.
As the Headline Sponsor, Jewson are providing essential support for the event and helping to promote the growth and development of powerchair football in England. Their connection to football is significant, and their commitment to supporting the sport in various forms is admirable. Their contribution to disability football, in particular, demonstrates a commitment to promoting inclusivity and ensures anyone can participate in sport.
Gareth Drew, Jewson Marketing Director, said:
“We’re delighted to be supporting the work the WFA do and to be the Headline Sponsor of the WFA’s End of Season Award evening. We’ve always had a strong association with football, have been an EFL partner for the last two seasons and recently have also supported communities through girls’ grassroots initiatives too. It felt like a perfect fit to also extend our support to headline this event – ensuring everyone has access to participate in sport and has a platform to be able to do what they enjoy most.”
We want to express our gratitude to Jewson for their generosity and commitment to powerchair football.
