2024/24 Premiership Team of the Weekend – Gameweek 2

Voting for Gameweek 2 of the 2024/25 Optegra Premiership is now open. Cast your votes for the Standout Player of the Weekend, Unsung Hero of the Weekend, and Team of the Weekend.

Please read the new voting rules below:

1. Voting is now open to registered Premiership players, coaches, match officials, WFA representatives, and match commentators.
2. You must not vote for yourself or any of your team’s players.
3. In the Team of the Weekend (TOTW) competition, you must vote for six different players.
4. Only one submission per person will be counted.
5. Ensure that all votes are submitted by the deadline specified to be considered.

Awards for Gameweek 2 of the 2024/25 Optegra Premiership

Standout Player of the Weekend:

Nominate a single player you believe to be the standout performer from Gameweek 2 of the 2024/25 Optegra Premiership.

Unsung Hero of the Weekend:

Select a player who made significant, often overlooked contributions to their team’s performance across Gameweek 2 of the 2024/25 Optegra Premiership. This might be a player who provided essential defensive stability, offered emotional support or added creativity to their team.

Team of the Weekend:

Choose four players, two substitutes, and a coach you believe to be the top performers from Gameweek 2 of the 2024/25 Optegra Premiership. Your vote helps us highlight the talent, dedication, and sportsmanship within our Premiership.

Please note that the players and coaches listed on the voting form are those who are officially registered team members/staff for the 2024/25 season.

Voting closes at midday on Monday, December 16th. Please ensure that you cast your submissions before this deadline. Award winners will be announced across The WFA’s social media pages below:
