Brian Dix, Chairperson of The Wheelchair Football Association (WFA), has announced he will be stepping down from his role at the conclusion of the 2022/23 season.
Appointed as WFA Chairperson in December 2020, Brian navigated The WFA through the difficulty of the COVID-19 pandemic with distinction before supporting the successful resumption of powerchair football activity across the country.
Whilst in post, Brian has also led on relations with The FA, seeing The WFA officially announced for the first time as a disability delivery partner in ‘Football Your Way’, The FA’s gameplan for disability football.
We would like to thank Brian for his service, leadership and commitment to The WFA and the wider Powerchair Football community.
The process to appoint his successor will begin in due course.
