The Wheelchair Football Association would like to congratulate Chris Gordon on his appointment to the FA Council. 

Chris will join three new independent members on the FA’s Disability Committee to give specific input and advice on all matters relating to disability football and inclusion, equality, and diversity.

The FA Disability Committee reports directly to the FA board. The Committee receives delegated authority from the FA Board to manage disability football right through from the grassroots level of the game up to its international squads.  This includes supporting the development and implementation of The FA National Game Strategy and decisions on how funding allocated by The FA is spent and distributed within disability football.

The Disability Committee comprises up to 14 members, including 7 representing different stakeholders within the National Game and Professional Game on The FA Council.
